Superheat FGH is the lone provider of exclusive "Wrapping Specification Sheets" to ensure that initial set-up conforms to the guidelines and recommendations of ASME, AWS D10.10, and best practices from years of industrial experience. These tools have become the foundation of Training and Quality Assurance for Superheat's Technicians, and those customers choosing some degree of self-performance, whether utilizing their own craft or integrating preferred subcontractors into Heat Treatment activity.

Superheat maintains a comprehensive library of Wrapping Specification Sheets for virtually any imaginable piping or tubing application, and will customize drawings for more specialized applications, including large vessels, nozzles and other attachments to the piping system requiring Heat Treatment. They often become part of the customers welding specifications and always part of the final turnover documentation package.

Wrapping spec sheets identify placement of Thermocouples, heater selection and orientation, and clarify details applicable to the appropriate sections of codes and standards. T/C attachment methods, installation training and instructions provided upon request.

Smart Light

Smart Light | Tools & Resources

Smart Light is Superheat's patented, "localized" visual indicator for the welder, as to the status of the Heat Treat activity. Smart Light is a high visibility LED that can be magnetically attached within close proximity of the welder and provide immediate confirmation that 1) Heaters are energized 2) Target temperatures are maintained within specification or 3) draw attention to any nonconformity, with application or inter-pass temperature, T/C or heater interruption or notification for attention in any respect.

SAM

Site Access Management encompasses the local "command and control" center of Superheat's unique business model. SAM is the focal point of jobsite coordination, data management and Quality Control for multiple ongoing site activities. Superheat establishes a non-invasive communication network within a 6-mile radius of plant operations to support up to 100 rigs on site, dramatically reducing the number of unproductive Operators or Technicians required by traditional HT service providers. SOI resides on a standard Microsoft SharePoint server, conforming to traditional Outlook visual orientation, providing information management capabilities and system integration coordination, unavailable by any other service provider. Superheat FGH is the ONLY Heat Treatment service provider utilizing "OFF-SITE" Quality Management resources to enhance the Quality, Safety and Efficiency of the entire field heat treatment activity. Superheat has established a central location, staffed by experienced Project Coordinators to oversee, verify and compliment service activities in the field, around the clock, 365 days of the year. The QMC is responsible for

QA Turnover Packages

Every piece of documentation from Project Planning to final Performance Charting is digitized, compiled, and distributed by the QMC to any and all authorized customer representatives at the conclusion of the project. Traditional Heat Treatment turnover packages are limited to a single strip chart presented at the conclusion of a project. Superheat FGH submits a comprehensive, professionally prepared turnover package including,

  • Pre-work Order Forms
  • Site schematics if provided
  • Performance specifications
  • Wrapping Specification Sheets
  • Calibration Certificates as required
  • Brinnell Hardness test reports (Superheat executed)
  • Final Performance Charts

Materials are distributed to as many locations as necessary, at no additional cost, as part of the normal service our customers, and will also be archived for future distribution should the need arise.
