Project Manager
Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall efficient and safe operations of the day to day activities for the assigned project.

Responsibilities
- Enforce and abide by safety policies and good housekeeping habits
- Oversee day to day operations and provide overall staff supervision
- Provide direction and guidance to ensure projects are completed to requirements and meet quality assurance criteria
- Implement and ensure effective and safe equipment testing procedures
- Guide and promote safe work practices and emphasize a culture of safety
- Coordinate pre-job planning and job walks
- Propose and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement plans
- Schedule work requirements
- Responsible for customer relations
- Receive requests and obtain signatures
- Maintain attendance records and provide input for performance evaluations
- Responsible for submission of accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Three to five years of demonstrated supervisory and/or project management experience
- Post secondary education in an electrical engineering program or equivalent an asset
- Previous experience in the electrical trades industry or environment an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
