Field Technician 2

Description

The Field Technician 2 is responsible for ensuring wrapping procedures are in place as indicated in drawings, cable hookups and providing troubleshooting support.

Responsibilities

• Enforce and abide by safety policies and good housekeeping habits
• Wrap work pieces as per drawings
• Ensure cable hookups are in place as indicated in drawings
• Provide troubleshooting support
• Communications with site and offsite management and personnel
• Provide support to Team Leader and Project Manager where required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical aptitude skills
• Experience in an industrial, petro-chemical or nuclear facility an asset
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements

• Extensive travel throughout the US including working overtime as requested
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
