Field Technician 1

Description

The Field Technician 1 is responsible for the equipment setup, network setup and equipment inventory for the assigned project.

Responsibilities

• Enforce and abide by safety policies and good housekeeping habits
• Load, drive and spot equipment
• Set-up network, label cables and equipment
• Deliver wrapping supplies to required areas
• Number cables as per IT specifications
• Run cables to work piece
• Track on-site inventory
• Daily equipment maintenance
• Communicates with site/offsite management and personnel
• Site runners for supplies
• Strip work pieces and perform hardness testing

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical aptitude
• Experience in an industrial, petro-chemical or nuclear facility an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position
• Must work independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements

• Extensive travel throughout the US including working overtime as requested
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
