Training Developer


Description

Corporate Instructor/Developers will report directly to the Corporate Training Officer for their assigned duties. They will be required to work closely and compatibly with Corporate and Regional Management, designated Subject Matter Experts, in-house training participants, Training Administration, and customers participating in the Superheat FGH Training Program. They will possess the skill and drive to support and improve the Superheat FGH Training Program during the conduct of their assigned duties in order to ensure exceptional training facilitation from conception to implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Review and recommend material for training program areas
  • Develop and validate task lists
  • Conduct Difficulty, Importance, Frequency (DIF) survey
  • Perform Task Analysis to identify task elements, skills and knowledge needed
  • Ensure implementation of training design
  • Develop Training Course Design Plans
  • Support performance based training and methods
  • Implement and conduct training sessions as established
  • Assist Corporate Training Officer in the performance of training program evaluation
  • Provide on the job training, coaching and support to Personnel

Qualifications

  • Previous demonstrated experience in standup instruction
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work within the guidelines of the ISD (Instructional Systems Design)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Superior computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
  • Technical experience in a mechanical/electrical/electronics environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience facilitating training interventions
  • Ability to travel a minimum 50 % of work time
  • Post secondary education in a related field

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
